Dear Isaac,
You are 8 years old today! Oh my goodness, you are seriously so adorable, I just want to squeeze you all day long. You have the biggest heart. You care deeply about those around you and want to make sure everyone is happy. You always makes it a priority to include everyone. Whenever you have friends over, you always lets Moses play with you and you all treat him like one of the group, not as the annoying little brother.
You're pretty attached to me these days and always wants to be around me. You love to snuggle at night and won't go to sleep without a back tickle, telling me your"rose and thorn" of the day, and having me say, "Goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite! Sweet dreams!" You follow me around the house and constantly need to know where I am and what I'm doing. If I leave to run a quick errand, you make sure to find out exactly how long I'll be gone and then you'll run out to garage and as I'm pulling away yelling, "See you in 30 minutes! Bye, mom! Bye!"
You're constantly creating: painting, sketching comic books, building 3d puzzles and popsicle stick bridges, coloring on coloring pages, etc. You're always working on something! I love it so much. I'm always blown away by the things that you come up with. I'm always looking forward to seeing the next thing you do.
Your favorite food is ramen and could eat it for every meal if I'd let you. You've also gotten into a habit this summer where you pop a bag of microwave popcorn for a snack like 2 or 3 times a day. Whenever I walk into the kitchen, popcorn is scattered all over the floor, and even into other rooms if you walked around while eating it.
You've been talking in this annoying little baby voice lately that I can't stand. I hope you grow out of that phase soon! 🤣 Your laugh is infectious. When you really get started, you can't stop and will get everyone else in the room going too. You are sincere, kind, driven, and sweet as can be. I adore this you so much and don't know what I'd do without you. You're an angel!!!
