Happy Birthday America!
Adam and I were lucky enough to spend the holiday weekend in St. George with both of our families. It was absolutely perfect. We went boating at Sand Hollow, lit fireworks, bowled, played music, and ate a lot of yummy 4th of July food like flag cake, homemade raspberry ice cream, and hamburgers. It was so fun to have our two families together.
Yes, the flag is backwards. We all had a good laugh when we realized it.
Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the group this weekend!
P.S. This summer is the best ever!!!

Is that THE Flag Cake? I have wanted to make that for so long, but I have been scared of the six sticks of butter required in the recipe. Was it every bit as delicious as it looks? If it is, I will make it.
